I was never an athlete, wasn't good at any sports ever. But in my 30th year I trained for a marathon, following the in my younger brothers ironman footsteps. I thought he was insane for doing ironman but he convinced me that I could run a marathon. SO I did. a year later I was signed up for my first triathlon, a half ironman for which I still hold my pr on that course. It has been endurance endurance endurance since then. Including some podium finishes, boston qualifier and finisher and 3 ironman. I m still not the greatest athlete but I do ok and look better now than I ever have. This spring I am going back to the place of my first marathon in hopes of qualifying for Boston again!
